Our History

Global Capital Management is the product of the dream of two Master's in Finance students from ICESI University in Cali, who in 2010, upon exposure to the international module held in Chicago, USA, they were able to envision a business model that would replicate the advantages and benefits of investment as a wealth-building mechanism for Colombia through a Financial Asset Management model. Thus, in 2015, Global Capital Management was born into legal existence as a "Family Office"-style investment fund, working to achieve sustained growth of assets under management and ensuring the financial well-being of all our stakeholders.

Since 1998, Darwin has been passionate about investing in publicly traded companies' stocks and fixed income. Throughout his career, in the positions he has held, he has sought the maximization of value for his partners and shareholders, and now for the participants (or investors) of Global Capital Management. In addition, he seeks to share his knowledge with new generations at the region's Higher Education Centers.
